Our Team

Sarah Donato
Founder, Instructor
Sarah Donato is a certified yoga instructor whose love of movement began with surfing and fitness at a young age. She first came to yoga as a way to stay strong and flexible, but quickly discovered that it offered something far greater. Beyond physical fitness, yoga taught her to connect with her breath, quiet her mind, and release the stress of everyday life.
Her journey has taken her across the globe, through college, and into the fast-paced corporate world of New York City, yet through it all, yoga has remained her anchor. It is the constant that keeps her grounded, the thread of balance and clarity woven through every chapter of her life. This dedication led her to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and dedicate hundreds of hours to deepening her practice, transforming a personal refuge into a calling to guide others.
Sarah brings warmth, humor, and a keen understanding of movement and mindfulness to every class. She has experience working with children, channeling after-school energy into focused, playful yoga, and tailoring sessions for teens, seniors, prenatal students, and fitness-focused practitioners alike. Today, as the founder of Tiger Shark Yoga, Sarah is devoted to helping students of all ages and backgrounds experience yoga as more than movement — as a way to build strength, find stillness, and reconnect with themselves.
